Ministry: Russian grain exports fall 10% to 35 mln tns as of Apr 9

MOSCOW, Apr 14 (PRIME) -- Russia exported 34.5 million tonnes of grain from the start of the current agricultural year on July 1, 2019 through April 9, 2020, a 9.9% fall on the year, the Agriculture Ministry said Tuesday citing the Federal Customs Service.

In the 2018–2019 agricultural year, Russia’s grain exports amounted to 43.3 million tonnes, including 35.2 million tonnes of wheat.

In the 2019–2020 agricultural year, the ministry sees grain exports at 45 million tonnes, including 36 million tonnes of wheat.
